Purederm Cleansing Tissues/Wipes

Purederm is an asian(Korean) brand by Adwin Korea Corp. Distributed in/by Philippines.
This is the third time I've bought their cleansing tissues/cloths. The first one I got weren't the pre-moistened ones. They were exfoliating, dry cloths which when dipped in hot or warm water, lathered up real nice and cleansed thoroughly. I really loved those. But the next time I went to buy them, they weren't available. Instead, I got these pre-moistened tissues from the same brand. But since I have oily skin and am prone to breakouts, I bought the ones for Acne. There were also:

• Age Defying Cleansing Tissues
• Normal/regular Cleansing Tissues

Contains:


As you can see in the picture and guess by the name, it contains Salicylic Acid which treats acne and is also an exfoliant. It also contains Tea Tree Oil which, again, is good for and treats acne/breakouts. And Aloe Vera, nothing complicated here, I'm sure most of you know this one. Aloe Vera moisturizes the skin and soothes itching and redness. It lightens dark spots on the face and reduces the intensity of pigmentation. It also acts as a barrier to skin against pollutants. And the list of benefits is endless.


The tissues have a mild scent. At first, I was like, "It smells like medicines!!" Well, of course it would cause it's for acne treatment but it isn't too major. It's faint and subtle. After using it for a couple of times; you don't even notice it.


How to use:


Just take one tissue (and it's thick as a cloth) out and massage in circular motions. I even clean my eye area with it and it doesn't dry it out. Even after using it on face and neck; the tissue remains so moist that you can use it on other body parts as well like elbows, hands, feet.


As for the make up removing part: It does remove most of it, cause you can see it on the tissue. But to remove all of it; I had to use two and still had to wash with a cleanser. (By the way, using two at once is not a good idea cause it can dry out your skin even if it's oily cause it contains  0.3% salicylic acid.)
The reason it doesn't remove make up is because it's pre-moistened tissue. I've never believed them to remove all of the make up. For this purpose, their old product, the cleansing cloths were perfect!! They were so good that I noticed my eye area less dark within 1-2 uses.


Although it says that it tones and moisturizes, I still use my toner and moisturizer after washing my face. But that's just me.

Skin looks really, really fresh. It brightens it up and thoroughly cleanses and removes all the dirt and oil. I daresay it makes you look radiant.

Eskinol Naturals Calamansi Cleanser

I was totally unaware of this product or the company when I go it. And I bought this on a whim. At first, the word 'cleanser' written on it and the product's consistency/type confused me because it looked and smelled like a toner to me but it said 'cleanser'? I tried to use it as the cleanser first. It neither lathered up nor did it sit on my face so I could spread it around and then wipe on a tissue. No, it sunk in and vanished like a toner; which I had suspected earlier. Then I went on the internet just to confirm and yes, I was right. It IS a toner. A Philippines' product. Now let's start:

Claims:

Eskinol Calamansi Cleanser (which in fact is a toner XD ) is enriched with the natural skin lightening and cleansing properties of real calamansi. It also has Vitamin C which keeps skin healthy.

Does it?

Absolutely!  I have oily/combination skin, this toner controls shine and makes your skin look radiant. I'm not exaggerating. I've been using it on and off for months but with regular use of it for only 2 weeks; I noticed a kind of a glow on my face and skin was so clean. Also, the pores were minimized to great extent. Now let me tell all the first time users that at first; it might sting a little but it's not bad. It was actually a very refreshing feeling for me. A fresh, tingling sensation. Although, there's a strong smell to it (cause it contains alcohol) but I love it. If you can stand the smell (I wouldn't actually call it 'standing/bearing' because it's pleasant at least for me); all the better for you! And it does not dry out your skin!

Cautions:

For external use only. Do not use when skin is inflamed or injured. Keep away from open flame. Do not bring close to the eyes.

Recommended?

Yes!! For everyone but especially for oily/combination skin types, it's a must. But if you're in search for an alcohol-free toner; this is not for you.

 

 

Nivea Visage - Refreshing Cleansing Milk

I've trusted this brand for ages. I haven't used a lot of products from it but whatever I have; has been gentle to my skin.
I've been using Nivea's cleansing milk for over 3 years and I love it! 3 years+, yes. That was the time I got interested in beauty, make up, skincare, etc. So, Nivea was the first ever cleansing milk that I bought.
I first got "Nivea Visage - Gentle Cleansing Milk". And after finishing the bottle; I got "Nivea Visage - Refreshing Cleansing Milk [Normal to Combination Skin]" Both Indonesia made. And both work in the same way so here goes:

Contains:

Lotus Flower Extracts and vitamins. (I had to Google Translate it because it was written in Indonesian =D )

Claims:

Cleanses and Moisturizes the skin giving a fresh look. Enriched with Lotus flower extracts and vitamins, the skin is given an optimal humidity for the skin's natural moisture to stay awake when the face is clean and all around the eye. (Thank you Google Translate)

Product type:
The consistency is lotion type: watery, runny, not thick. Just like (skimmed) milk. And it feels so soft and silk-like when poured onto the skin. It's NOT sticky at all. Also, you don't need to pour out heaps of it. It has a fragrance to it like all(or most) Nivea products but I usually like fragrances in products so it's pleasant for me. And it's not irritating.


So, does it do what it says?

Yes, ofcourse! Nivea is spot on in their claims! It not only thoroughly cleanses and removes make up/dirt in just seconds; but it also keeps the skin moisturized and looking fresh. It doesn't leave an oily residue behind but if you still want to; you can wash your face afterwards. You'll be amazed to see the glow on your face, trust me. I'm not kidding.

{*Note: I haven't used it around eyes so I don't know about that :) } 

Application:
Just pour a few drops onto hand and spread all over the face with fingers. You don't even need to rub in too hard. Just spread all over in circular motions and massage lightly if you want to. Then wipe it off with a tissue or a clean cloth. You don't have to wait for it to sit on your skin; you can wipe it immediately after spreading it around.

You'll be amazed to see the amount of make up it takes onto the tissue.



Do I recommend it?


Of course! Yes, yes! It's excellent. I love it. I've tried other cleansing milks but they didn't live up to its standards.
